The Owner
Meet Noah Starr.
Noah Starr is a Canadian Forces veteran with a combat tour in Afghanistan, and the owner of Freddy Tow Co. He came home, settled in the Fredericton area, and built a small operation doing snow removal and yard care - the kind of dependable, hands-on work the community needed every season.
When COVID-19 disrupted that seasonal model in 2020, the pivot was obvious: every community needs a tow truck and a dispatch line that picks up - not just on the schedules of a 9-to-5 business, but at 2 a.m. on a long weekend in February. Freddy Tow Co. was founded in May 2020 to be exactly that for the greater Fredericton area.
The mission is straightforward and it hasn’t changed: Family. Community. Country. Show up fast. Do the job right. Treat every customer and every vehicle with the discipline and care drilled in by years of military service. No franchise script, no offshore call centre - one veteran-owned business the community can trust to roll out, get you home, and stand behind the work.
The Dispatcher
Meet Megan Toth.
When you call the dispatch line, Megan is who you talk to. She runs the board from our Fredericton dispatch office - map up on one screen, job queue on the other, headset on, coffee in hand.
Megan is the reason a call to Freddy Tow Co. doesn’t sound like a call to a national roadside hotline. She knows the Fredericton-area roads, she knows the trucks, and she can give you an honest ETA in under a minute. If you need a tow, you’re going to her first, and that’s a good thing.
