The Service

We fly your aircraft so you don’t have to.

Air ferry is a distinct service from any other towing we offer - we’re not moving your airframe on a flatbed, we’re flying it. You own the aircraft; our pilot takes it from point A to point B on your behalf, with full documentation and insurance coordination.

This is the service aircraft owners actually reach for when they’ve bought a plane in another province and need it delivered home, when maintenance has to happen at a specific MRO, when an aircraft needs to be repositioned for a season, or when an owner-pilot can’t make the flight themselves but the aircraft still has to move.

Purchase Delivery

You bought an aircraft elsewhere in Canada. We fly it to your home airport. You take possession ready to fly.

Repositioning

Aircraft needs to move for seasonal storage, a training program, an event, a sale showing, or to reunite with its owner in another province.

Maintenance Ferry

Flying the aircraft to (or from) an MRO facility for scheduled work, annuals, inspections or out-of-province repair.

Owner-Pilot Relief

The owner can’t make the flight - weather window, scheduling conflict, medical hold, currency lapse. We move the aircraft so the plan doesn’t.

Aviation FAQ

Common questions.

What is an aircraft air ferry?
An air ferry is a service where a qualified pilot flies your aircraft point-to-point on your behalf - most commonly for purchase delivery (buyer takes possession at their home airport), repositioning, maintenance ferries to or from an MRO, or owner-pilot relief when the owner cannot make the flight personally.
What are your pilot qualifications?
We have a pilot commercially qualified for Canadian-registered fixed-wing aircraft. Credentials and insurance documentation are provided to the aircraft owner in writing before any flight.
What aircraft can you ferry?
Any Canadian-registered aircraft, anywhere in the world. Contact us with make, model, registration, departure and destination airports and timing for a specific quote.
Where do you ferry aircraft to and from?
Worldwide. Our pilot will ferry any Canadian-registered aircraft to and from any point on the globe the aircraft can legally operate, subject to the appropriate documentation, permits and insurance. Most jobs originate in or return to Fredericton International Airport (YFC).
How is pricing calculated?
Air ferry flights are quoted per job based on route distance, expected block time, positioning, fuel, weather contingencies and overnight costs where required. You receive a firm quote before the flight is committed.
What about insurance?
Our pilot carries appropriate pilot-in-command insurance. In most owner-pilot ferry arrangements, the aircraft owner’s hull insurance must be confirmed to cover a commercially qualified non-owner pilot - we help coordinate that confirmation before the flight.
